Mission Statement:
Our mission is to empower children, adolescents and young adults with persistent mental health issues to adequately function in their communities by using evidence based therapies and interventions. Our goal is to guide our participants to the path of success by delivering high quality behavioral health services with compassion and empathy.
Who We Serve:
Above the Horizon Consulting, LLC is a behavioral health company that provides services to children, adoloescents and young adults ages 2-21 years old with mental, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Initiating Services:
Our services begin with a consultation with the parent to learn more about what the needs are for the child and family. Above the Horizon wants the process of initiating services to be a success from the beginning, so therefore our clinicians gather as much information as possible during the consultation to ensure that the individual and their families needs, strengths and preferences are met.
A comprehensive assessment is completed using skill assessments, observations, and parent/caregiver and/or teacher consultations.
Our clinician will develop treatment plans that are uniquely tailored to the needs of the individual. The treatment plans include treatment goals, strategies for implementation by staff and parents.Â
There will be ongoing parent training and collaboration with the parent and/or caregivers to ensure that the treatment goals and strategies are being effective and modification will be made if need so.
